December 1 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
5th Edition – Higher Education Rubric
Owens Community College is offering an Applying the Quality Matters Rubric (APPQMR) workshop on Friday, December 1st, 2017 that will explore the Quality Matters project and processes. This workshop will help prepare participants to become part of an initiative that positively impacts the design of online/blended courses and ultimately, student learning and success.
QM is designed to improve the quality of online and blended courses by establishing a peer-reviewed quality assurance review process. This workshop introduces the QM’s standards and their purpose in a course review. Participants will learn to apply these standards, create helpful recommendations, and gain ideas to improve their own courses by engaging in practice course review exercises. Participants in this hands-on workshop can be online/blended instructors, instructional designers, and/or faculty members & faculty developers. After successfully completing this workshop, participants will be eligible to register for the Online Peer Reviewer Certification (PRC) training.
Seats Available: 5
Cost: FREE for faculty members teaching at an institution that is a member of the Ohio QM Consortium. Registration is required!
You must come to the workshop with a QM Rubrics Workbook. Consult with your school’s QM Campus Coordinator to obtain a workbook for the workshop.
